The enclosed cabin around the cutting head allows high-level performance with total footprint minimized, bringing the speed and efficiency of fiber laser to industrial sectors previously dominated by plasma or CO2 cutting. Alongside the broad range of applications comes the versatility of options, such as the 6-position drilling turret. Made in Tuscany, FHD is the culmination of Made in Italy innovation. CONFIGURATOR The EVO3 cutting head comes equipped with a capacitive sensor. The FHD system uses the EVO 3 autofocus cutting head, which, entirely designed by our R&D department and made with extremely high-precision mechanics by Cutlite Penta, is also equipped with contact sensing and temperature sensing. The head itself and the focusing lenses can be used up to 60 kW of laser power and at a pressure of 25 bar; several focusing configurations are provided. The head, innovative in its mechanism, has extremely compact dimensions, is lightweight and allows the use of the same bases as flat machines without compromising our peculiarities, also enabling rotation of +/- 50° in both cutting directions. Starting from the development of the EVO series, the control that Cutlite Penta exercises on its cutting head, from the design phase to its realization, has seen it establish itself on the market as a synonym of performance, reliability and versatility, arousing the interest of the main manufacturers of fiber laser sources, with whom over time it has built a synergistic relationship that guarantees agility and variety for its market offer. The sturdy steel structure, extended along the X axis, facilitates loading and unloading through the use of a forklift or a bridge crane. The enclosed cabin precisely follows the cutting operation, moving on double prismatic guides. Sealed aluminum cable carriers enclose pipes and cables directed towards the head, to prevent entry of sparks and foreign bodies. The total footprint is therefore close to the dimensions of the worktable. The movement is entrusted to precision-ground pinions and rack, manufactured with extremely high-precision tolerances, ensuring smooth and backlash-free operation. In combination, the brushless motor offers high energy efficiency, reliable performance, and durability. The inclusion of HT 6-position revolver turret series contributes to the flexibility of the fiber laser cutting system, increasing the repertoire of mechanical operations, such as drilling, countersinking, threading, and deburring, executable on the parts directly in the machine. For the FHD model, the bevel cutting head is also available up to +/-50°.
